Coffee & Writing 10/14

The Alaska Writing Project (AWP) is a space for educators and writers to grow as leaders, writers, researchers, and teachers. Toni Morrison once said,

We are traditionally rather proud of ourselves for having slipped creative work in there between the domestic chores and obligations. I’m not sure we deserve such big A-pluses for that.

What do we deserve?

We at AWP believe that everyone deserves love and support from each other for all the domestic, professional, and creative work we do. AWP is here to give you that kind of love and support!

Join us for a morning of thinking, writing, feeling, and love on October 14 at SteamDot Coffee & Espresso Lab on O’Malley from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. In the words of Theodore Roethke, “In a dark time, the eye begins to see.” Let’s write together and connect with each other and see what we see. We hope to see you Saturday at SteamDot!
